About me
Oh, hi! I'm Stephanie Deline, a professional photographer and copywriter. I'm here to help you level up your business with stunning photos and authentic words that sell without gimmicks. I've been fascinated with photography and writing since childhood. I would always have a notebook and either a disposable camera, my little film camera or my polaroid Joycam with me. It started with photographing my friends and family, then turned into photographing my favourite artists in concert (I'd wait for hours and hours in line to ensure I was front and center to get these images).
My love affair with writing began with poetry and stories, eventually turning to songs, and ultimately culminating in studying journalism and becoming a copywriter. I worked as a feature writer for Canadian Musician Magazine, Professional Sound Magazine and other print and online publications. When a friend asked me to write a bio for their LinkedIn, I fell in love with copywriting and opened a freelancer account on UpWork.
Before I knew it, I was a Top Rated Freelancer, garnering abundant client praise and building a diverse portfolio that includes about pages/bios, product descriptions, brand names and taglines, mission statements, blog posts and more. At the same time, I was exploring my deep love of photography and gaining experience with family, newborn, couples and portrait photography. I love helping people launch or improve their business with lifestyle, branding and headshot photography.
Having such intense passion for both writing and images led me to launch Queen Bee Words + Imagery. I've worked with dentists, naturopaths, acupuncturists, photographers, and actors, to name just a few. I have a unique, thorough approach that places the focus on each client, creating content that is specifically curated and crafted to their needs. I look deep into the inner workings of everyone I work with. What makes them shine, what sets them apart, what is their story? I don't just offer words and images, I offer an experience that lifts people up, showing them their true potential and conveying their brand message with a beautiful pairing of visuals and the written word.
As an intuitive empath, each project is a sacred energy exchange for me. I love helping my clients see their own beauty and the magic they hold. I live in Vancouver, B.C., leading a rich life with my wonderful daughter and amazing partner. When I'm not hanging out with the fam, writing or shooting, you can find me lost in a good book, scoping out local cafes (I am an iced mocha connoisseur), creating new Spotify playlists, or thrift shopping.

My mission is to ensure your content communicates what you do and why you do it in the most authentic and comprehensive way. I will paint a compelling and vibrant portrait of your brand or business with words. Your copy and content should sparkle, it should attract, it should radiate. It should speak to your target market in a visceral way. It should be clear and concise, sending all the right messages, but it must simultaneously be unique, representative and engaging. Words are fundamental in how we relate to our passions, our work, each other, and ourselves. Communication is key in every aspect of life, and language and words obviously play a crucial role in that.

Words hold the power to create bonds, to hurt and to heal, to mend fences, tear them down, and build them back up. Words have the ability to sell, and they can also lead to a lost sale. Words can deflate and they can elevate, and should be carefully and masterfully selected when it comes to business. The words on your website and in all your business and marketing materials are fifty percent of how you represent your work online (the other half being visuals, of course.)
Good copy gives people a reason to say YES - whether it’s a “Heck yeah!” to your email list, “Absolutely!” to a product or service, or “I may not take out my wallet just YET, but I like what I’m reading, so YES I’ll follow your socials, and YES, I'll keep this filed in my mental Rolodex for later”. ALL of these situations are wins.
